Update a price or mark a dish unavailable, then check the published guest view. Normal menu updates keep the same menu link and QR code. Print the code once, test it at the table and keep the content current from your workspace.
Deleting a table or area is different: its table-specific QR links stop working. Review and replace printed cards when changing your floor setup.
Start with browsing, add ordering when you are ready
Basic provides a view-only digital menu. Pro adds supported ordering workflows, including WhatsApp requests and Square integration. WhatsApp requests require your team to confirm availability and totals; they do not collect a payment. Square ordering and table payment require separate configuration.
A launch checklist for a readable QR menu
- Use accurate dish names, prices and dietary descriptions.
- Keep categories short and arrange them in a useful browsing order.
- Test the printed code on more than one phone and connection.
- Offer printed menus or staff assistance when a guest cannot use a phone.
